Velumic Foundation contacts people by phone and email to ask for support. Anyone can claim to be calling from a foundation, so this page lists the only ways we actually get in touch, and the things we will never ask you for. If a call or message does not match what is on this page, it is not us.
How we actually contact you

Genuine email from us comes only from addresses ending in @velumicfoundation.org. Check the sender's full address, not only the name shown — a name can say anything.
How we accept money
We are not able to accept donations online yet, so anyone asking you to pay us right now — by card, by UPI, by bank transfer, or in cash — is not acting for this foundation. When online giving opens it will be through our payment provider's own checkout, reached from the Donate page on this website.
What we will never ask you for
- An OTP or verification code, for any reason. Not to confirm a donation, not to verify your identity, not to release a receipt.
- A card PIN, a UPI PIN, a CVV, a net-banking password, or a screen-sharing or remote-access app.
- A transfer to a personal account, a personal UPI ID, or a wallet in an individual's name. Money for the foundation only ever goes to the foundation.
- Payment in cash to someone who visits you, or a gift card, cryptocurrency, or payment through any third party.
- Your PAN or Aadhaar number over the phone. Those are collected only in the donation form on this website, and only where the law requires them for an 80G receipt.
If a call or message looks wrong
End the call, and do not share anything. Then contact us using a detail from this page — not a number the caller gave you — and tell us what happened. It costs you a few minutes and it tells us someone is using our name. If you have already paid or shared a code, contact your bank immediately, and report it to the national cybercrime helpline on 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in.
